- a Mineral Claim applies to "Lode" minerals - being a defined ore deposit or vein of ore
- a Placer Claim applies to "Placer" minerals - such as particles of gold or some other valuable mineral found in a deposit of sand or gravel
- no search examples are shown in the following sections as mining claim reports provide data that that will vary according to the Type of Search selected, the information provided and the information requested
